Guess who is coming to town?

NordstromNo it is not Santa Claus but the one and only Nordstrom!  Nordy’s has been a long time favourite and whenever I cross the border, I always make an effort to shop here!  They have items in all different price ranges so everyone can enjoy!  It’s hard to believe that Nordstrom made the announcement that it was coming to the 416 over 4 years ago and now it’s about to open its doors, first at the Eaton Centre and second at Yorkdale this fall!

To celebrate Nordstrom is hosting opening galas for each of its stores.  At this event, attendees will see fashion shows, enjoy cocktails, nibbles, live music and entertainment and be the first to shop!  All proceeds from the tickets go to local charities within Toronto.

I am about to get my ticket.  Do you have yours?

Mackage Coat

If there is one thing, you know about me is my belief to spend dollars on a coat you love. After all, living in Canada, it is the one thing; you are guaranteed to wear every day, so why not buy one you adore! It is a great investment. Last year, I purchased the Vane (grey wool with black leather arms) and can’t wait for the cooler weather to wear it! Also why not support a truly wonderful Canadian Company! This year, you can purchase a similar one, the Shea.

The Houlihan

Back in 2010, the Houlihan by J Brand was all the rage. J Brand sold over 300,000 pairs and it was impossible to get a pair after every single celebrity was seen wearing them. Luckily, they are making a huge comeback and are on my wish list! Can’t wait to get these in distressed chrome. Will be styling these with black heels!

Olive Green

A huge trend this season is Olive Green. It is everywhere! I have fallen in love with many different olive green items from dresses to skirts to tops! This fall, I have my eye on the Equipment Signature Silk Shirt, which is a staple in the working professional’s closet.

The Rag and Bone Boots

Rag and Bone Boots have a cult following. Margot hit the scene last year and continues to be a top pick by all including our favourite celebrities.

These can be worn with everything from pants to skirts and dresses. It’s important to know that Rag and Bone Boots fit small and most people need to go up ½ to a full size.

Also really cute with the fringe! I am looking forward to rocking them this fall in stone.
